Hi, I'm Peter Carruthers, and the sole source of my income since 2003 has been the Internet. For the first time I will share exactly how I did it, as well as where I am going next.

Before you read the rest of this page, please ask yourself one question. Your answer will define your future.

Right now, how happy are you with your finances?

In other words:

• How secure are you with your monthly finances?
• How certain are you that your retirement savings will be enough?
• How much value would you get from geographic freedom, an income anywhere in the world?

OK, so that was a really a BIG question with lots of facets. But the question remains: How happy are you with your finances right now?

 WE ALL HAVE EXACTLY THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES ON THE INTERNET.  It's a little like the Lottery, except that your chances are much, much higher. Instead of a billion to one, your chances of pulling good income from the web successfully are better than 90%. Especially in South Africa!

Netfontein is the name I give the suburb where I spend most of my time. Net (as in Internet), and Fontein (as in lots of places in South Africa, like Bloemfontein). I haven't had a real office since 2000. My office since then has been a PC wherever I am on the day.

I'd like to share with you how easy it is to achieve this if you have a road map, how much fun it is, and how much freedom you will get when your income arrives in lots of streams from lots of places. If I can do it, then so can you. 

In 2000 I moved to Australia for 6 months. While there I noticed how far ahead their Internet services were. Order anything from anybody, and it would arrive the next morning. I realised that if any one of these suppliers discovered the virgin territory that SA then was, they'd eat our lunch.

Almost a decade later SA remains a digital wasteland relative to Europe and the USA. That means South Africa offers huge Internet opportunities. But, and here is the key, once you know how to make money from the SA Internet, you'll see huge opportunities in the rest of the world.

For instance, 97% of the income that Google generates goes to just 3% of their advertisers.  In other words, YOU have the same chances to build a viable, sustainable, lifetime income from the web as anybody else in the UK, USA, or Finland.

When I returned to SA I resolved that within one year all my income would come from the Internet.  I am embarrassed that it took almost two years, but since 2003 I have lived exclusively off the Internet. I am a mere digital figment of your imagination! Even though I have resided in the UK for the past couple of years (to support the online community of Business Warriors) I probably touch more South Africans each day than 99.9999% of South Africans living in SA.

Why doesn't everyone have an online business? Surely we all want  an income stream:

• with no rental costs and commitments?
• with almost zero phone costs?
• without sureties and overdrafts?
• with no financial risks;
• that doesn't need startup capital;
• that is buffered by a huge worldwide market?
• that offers sustainable income flows from anywhere on earth (that you can bank anywhere else on earth);
• that offers you geographic mobility, the ability to live wherever you want;
• that offers tax Flexibility, the ability to define how much tax you pay, and where;
• That doesn't expect you to wear a suit every day;
• Needs just a few hours each day, with occasional bursts of effort;
• And which you can operate from your bedroom, study or balcony!

The excuses?

• I am too busy.
• I have too many clients already.
• I don't have time.
• I am not a 'computer person'.
• I don't understand the Internet.

I was there as well. And I still get sidetracked and disheartened every now and then. There are a hell of a lot of things I still don't understand. (Hint: Nobody understands it all.)

What I can do, however, is distill the past 7 years of learning, pain, wasted effort, false hope, U-turns, and more than R2 million in equipment, software, and services - into a powerful, inspiring, 4 hour presentation that will show you how you too can get on this Web bandwagon quickly.

No, you won't be able to get rich in three hours! (If it was that simple everybody else would already be doing it and you and I would be hungry and skinny.) Yes, it can be very frustrating. (But may I gently suggest that your current day job probably has a lot more than its fair share of frustrations as well.) So, if you want somebody to hand it all to you on a plate, may I suggest you stop reading this page and go buy yourself a lottery ticket? That's easier to do, although your chances of making serious money are less than a billion to one.

My first real taste of Internet freedom came while sitting at the Knysna Heads in May 2003.

Over breakfast I wrote an article in 30 minutes that earned me US$12,427 in the next 14 days, and led to almost three quarters of a million rand over the next 6 years, for about 2 hours of effort each year. (The tally is below.)

Since then I have sat in front of screens at hundreds of restaurants coffee shops and 'offices' all over the world. My passions have always been technology and marketing. The Internet provides a staggering wealth of resources for both you and me to make enough money to achieve any goals we have.

The current recession is forcing all of us to look at what we do, and how we do it. And many of us are finding that our market is simply evaporating. The only place where turnover seems to be growing is in cyberspace, in Netfontein.

A simple example: One of the UK insurance comparison websites earned 99 million pounds online in six months last year. (That's about R1.3 billion!) I'll show you how they did it, and how you can do it. (You won't earn as much as they did, but it'll sure pay for beer for a century or two.)

You're probably asking yourself why the Internet isn't flooded with Amazon wannabees. It is! And most of them flitter from one idea to another, never quite seeing the wood for the trees. I'll show you how to slow it all down to your speed, and focus on where the money is.

So why am I sharing all of this? The quick answer is that I know how important geographic freedom is to the average South African. You cannot have that freedom without a flexible income that will follow you wherever you choose to go. (Make enough money and you'll be welcome anywhere!)

On top of that, it would take me a thousand lifetimes to try and chase all these opportunities. Since I have just 15 years left at the coalface it seems like a fun thing to share them. (Time in front of computer screens is profitable, but time in front of audiences is a delight.)

Remember that my role in this seminar is not to teach you exactly how to attack each of these ideas. My role is to show you what the smorgasbord looks like, and have you sample a few of the dozens of ideas I will share. Then you can focus on just those that appeal to you. In other words, I want to show you some of the magic, and help you lose any fears you might have. Not only do these ideas work, but they do not bite!
